My experience during practicums

Image
Today, I'm going to talk to you about my experience during practicums. I have been training for the last six weeks, in a public school,  in Azogues. Until now, I learned a lot of new things from my professional tutor even if there has been not much time. Now, I wanna tell you about some steps that my teacher follows to have good development in her class.  First, the lesson presentation, before starting the lesson, she says "Good morning class! How are you?" It is something that she always does to get students' attention. She understands the importance of creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to express their thoughts and ideas, so during her lessons,  she usually does ICQs to be sure that everything is clear, and also she always walks around the class to check if everyone is working.   Employing  different methods and strategies to present the lessons, combining interactive activities, and student-centered approaches. She t...

My first concert?

Image
This story is about the time I went to a concert, nothing I expected turned out to be like that. That day, I was very excited because I was going to see my favorite singer. I left early at night because I expected to be in the front. I got to the place around 8 pm, and there were many people making line so I decided to buy the tickets. That's where I had my bad experience.  When purchasing the tickets, the man who sold me was a bit suspicious. He was in place outside the coliseum, and nobody was there at that time. I no longer knew that many people scammed you. I bought the tickets and went to the line to enter the concert. When I arrived at the door, they asked me for the tickets, I gave them, but it turned out they were false. I was shocked, I didn't expect something like that, I decided to return them to the gentleman, but I found with great surprise that he was no longer there. I looked for him all over the coliseum but didn't find him. That was terrible, I had never be...

INGAPIRCA’S RUINS

Image
Ingapirca’s Ruins is a wonderful archaeological complex. You might think, it sounds like a simple ruin, but, in fact, it is the most important pre-culumbian archaeological site in the country. This place is a famous destination since it has a lot of tourists every year. It is a place you have to visit, at least once in your life. There you can find a beautiful and unique landscape with panoramic views; you can get out of your routine. It is surrounded by an impressive wall with an amazing temple in the center. It is called “Temple of the Sun” that was used to do their ceremonies . A s well as there is a site for rituals, is thought that the structure was used to determine the agricultural and religious calendars, and it is also known as Moon’s calendar. Initially, you get the impression that it has nothing interesting, but, in fact, this place has a fantastic history about our background. The museum offered you to figure out how was their life since there you can enjoy seeing t...

These days have been difficult for everyone since the national Paro. People take to the streets to claim their rights, and this is because this government does not take care of our country. We are all being affected, not only these days because of the paro as some say. The country has been in crisis for a long time. That's why people go out to protest. Right now, the lack of medication, employment, or access to education is very complicated. We as students know that we need to continue studying, but many of us do not have the resources to pay for a private university. What happens if we do not have any support for public universities? Personally, I don't have money for private education. So, i t is not just for people who live in the countryside, it is for everyone. People who live in the countryside know that their effort deserves to be recognized and that is why they are fighting. W e should support them because they fight for our rights too.

The day that I graduated from school was an important day for me . Since that day, my life has changed. Most of my lifestyle, but especially in a positive way at home. I know it sounds like a common event since all the young people finish school, but for me, it was the day that the constant fight between me and my family ended. I remember that event like it was yesterday. When I got a diploma on my hands, I felt like life had given me a sign because I had achieved one of my goals. I had my mom and my two cousins there, but the rest of my family was not there because, for them, I would not get it. After the event, I felt like a little girl because I did not have my dad, my brother, and my two sisters there. When I went home, I just cried. As time went on, I understood that any problem I had had, was worth it. I just had to stay positive and be patient, and everything went well. I needed to believe in myself because everything you want comes true if you think about it and try. No...
